As a Black lesbian feminist with experience as a mental health provider, Montiniquë McEachern (her/she/hers) focuses her work on intergenerational healing through creating and facilitating spaces rooted in Black women’s ways of theorizing through storytelling. Her interdisciplinary public scholarship uses Black feminism to dually focus on podcasting as a radical feminist media making space and on the mental, relational, and emotional health of queer women of color. McEachern earned her B.S. and M.Ed at Auburn University and her Ph.D. in couple and relational therapy at Syracuse University. She is an award winning educator, podcast host, and producer. She also serves as the chair of the National Women’s Studies Association Lesbian Caucus. Her primary areas of interest are queer of color well-being, digital feminisms, contemporary liberation struggles, and feminist-informed pedagogy.
